Wrapped Pulse (WPLS) helps users tap into PulseChain’s DeFi potential. It converts native PLS into a token form that integrates with liquidity pools, lending platforms, and any ERC-20-based feature. Wrapped Pulse remains a key element of PulseChain’s ecosystem, linking staking rewards, bridging solutions, and decentralized trading.
Wrapped Pulse originated from PulseChain’s sacrifice phase (15 July–3 August 2021), where participants sent crypto in exchange for points that later converted to PLS. No traditional ICO occurred. Most PLS was then wrapped to create WPLS for DeFi, trading, and bridging across PulseChain and beyond.
PulseChain went live, enabling Wrapped Pulse usage in smart contracts and instant swaps.
Official and third-party bridges debuted, expanding WPLS liquidity and easy transfers between PulseChain and Ethereum.
Future updates may broaden the validator set to boost decentralization and support growing network traffic.
Developers plan more integrations, from new dApps to expanded multi-chain solutions that utilize WPLS.
WPLS benefits from audited PulseChain code and known Ethereum standards. No major exploits have been reported. The chain’s DPoS model, fee-burning, and verified smart contracts aim to keep Wrapped Pulse safe and reliable.
